When we recently analyzed the latest new attraction rumor, we concluded it seemed unlikely from a dimensional perspective. New purported evidence, however, indicates it might be much more likely than initially thought.

A user posted screenshots on Reddit Wednesday alleging an overseas shipment from Mack Rides to the Texas park. A different user commented with another screenshot further specifying “Power Splash” in the commodity description field, seemingly closing the case on what the park will be getting for 2020.

Our original analysis of a Power Splash ride in place of Aquaman showed it’d be a tight fit at best, impacting existing rides in the kids section or the railroad.

Since we made the overlay, however, the park blocked off Aquaman for its demolition with a fence extending around the ride and towards Judge Roy Scream‘s entrance. While it could be for a variety of reasons, the area fenced off possibly indicates the new ride could extend towards JRS’ entrance, but probably not without impacting the railroad and Cloud Bouncer, both of which are currently closed.

We’ll continue to follow this strong evidence pointing towards the new for 2020 Six Flags over Texas ride.

What is a Power Splash?

The Power Splash is a hybrid shuttle coaster and water ride. The best way to understand it is to just watch Mack’s promo video:
