Guide to the Oktoberfest Food Festival

Foodies looking for some Fall fun should consider the returning Oktoberfest Food Festival at Six Flags over Texas. Running select days in September and October, the event offers over 30 craft and seasonal beers and wines as well as a large variety of German-inspired cuisine. Live music provides the entertainment alongside party games and competitions, offering a chance to take home themed prizes.

Enjoy all the bratwurst, pretzels, schnitzel, and brews you can and then jump on your favorite ride or roller coaster (or maybe add in some buffer time between). It’s the perfect time to break the dirndls and lederhosen, sample refreshing new flavors, play a few games, and celebrate as the Bavarians do.

How much does the Oktoberfest Food Festival cost?

Access to the Oktoberfest Food Festival is included with park admission. All food and beverages are separate charges. Sampler punch cards are available to get 6 food items at a discount.

Where is the Oktoberfest Food Festival?

Oktoberfest at Six Flags over Texas takes place in the Old South and France section. The area is heavily themed with German-inspired, fall decor, while most of the other park is themed at this time for Fright Fest.

Oktoberfest Sampler Passes

Treat yourself to several dishes and save money with an Oktoberfest Food Sampler. After buying the pass initially from any food stand, just flash the pass at food stalls, get it stamped, and get your grub.

  • Oktoberfest Sampler ($39.99) – Choose 6 food items
  • Oktoberfest Sampler + Mug ($49.99) – Choose 6 food items and a beer (or non-alcoholic beverage) with a souvenir Oktoberfest mug
  • Oktoberfest Sampler + 2 Mugs ($59.99) – Choose 6 food items and 2 beers with 2 souvenir Oktoberfest mugs

Sampler Pass Cost Savings

A food sampler pass guarantees a cost savings if you plan on buying at least 6 foods. Individual food items cost between $7.99-11.99, so 6 items purchased without a sampler pass would cost $47.94 – $71.94.

The park was closed yesterday and now today and I was planning to visit to use my Oktoberfest food sampler card. What are you going to do since the park was closed and I couldn’t use it?

This website (GuideToSFoT) is an unofficial fan site. You would need to contact the park for a resolution to your issue.
