With Covid-19 pandemic measures still in affect, Six Flags over Texas has replaced its traditional Fright Fest event with Hallowfest for the 2020 season. Every weekend from September 25 through November 1, the park will host numerous events, all while abiding to social distancing and health recommendations.

Thrills by Day, Chills by Night

Similar to Fright Fest, Six Flags over Texas’ Hallowfest will have family-friendly events suitable for all ages throughout the day, including photo opportunities and trick-or-treat trail.

At nightfall, the ghouls will come out to play with 4 scare zones scattered throughout the park. Unlike in previous years, scare actors will keep their distance due to social distancing requirements.

Changes from Previous Halloween Events

Six Flags over Texas continues to operate with limited capacity and reservations for every attendee is still required. All guests must still wear masks covering the nose and mouth at all times.

For detailed information regarding what is and isn’t allowed for costumes, visit the park’s official Hallowfest page.
