Brief updates and happenings around Six Flags over Texas

Legacy Membership Prices Increase

Legacy membership owners have been informed of changes and cost increases. Legacy Gold Plus members are increasing to $11.99/month. Platinum memberships are going away entirely, converting members to Diamond at $14.99. Diamond is increasing to $18.99, while Diamond Elite is increasing to $23.99. New pricing starts on the payment after 3/27/25. Free season drink bottles are now included.

Titan’s New Color Scheme Revealed

Six Flags over Texas revealed Titan’s new color scheme in a recent Facebook Reel. The new colors are set to be red, white, and blue, “to represent the Texas flag.” The video goes on to say it will take 1,130 gallons of paint to cover the monstrous ride’s structure. The ride is expected to open in spring, depending on weather cooperating.

Titan Repainting Started

Six Flags over Texas has started the large project to repaint Titan and early photos show a very different navy blue track, a large departure from the orange track and teal supports the ride has featured since its 2001 introduction. There is speculation the supports will be a silver or gray color. Perhaps a strange nod to the nearby Dallas Cowboys?

Silver Season Pass Tier Returns

Six Flags continues to tweak admission offerings, reintroducing the Silver Pass tier that had initially disappeared following the chain’s merge with Cedar Fair. The base-level tier pass features admission to SFoT only with blackout dates, which currently appear to be Saturdays during 2025’s Fright Fest. More info can be found on our admission page.

Final Fright Fest Weekend

Fright Fest wraps up this weekend, concluding on November 3. Visitors should also know this is the last park operating weekend for a while, with the park being closed to the public (for private events) until November 24 when the park will reopen for Holiday in the Park.

Site Updates

Welcome to the All-New Guide to SFoT!

After months of hard work, I’d like to welcome you to the all-new Guide to SFoT! It’s probably obvious our website has been completely remodeled with a brand new look and feel. The biggest change by far is that the entire site is responsive, meaning it should look great on a computer, phone, or tablet.

I started Guide to Six Flags over Texas nearly 6 years ago due to it intersecting two of my passions: web design and Six Flags over Texas. It became apparent the old site was starting to look dated on desktop computers and was virtually unusable on mobile devices. After months of research and late nights of work, I’m proud to unveil the all-new Guide to Six Flags over Texas that should help it stay current

More Work to Come

Though a majority of the website is online, there is still significant work to do. In the interest of time, the site is currently missing dining, shopping, and entertainment venues. These will be added once the park re-opens and it’s apparent which pages need to be copied over from the old design, and which pages need to be updated.

Various other content is missing since we focused on the main sections (like Special Features) and ride pages.
