Six Flags over Texas is set to celebrate Independence Day during a multi-day event. The 4th of July Celebration Powered by Coca-Cola® will run July 4, 5, and 6, with a fireworks show each night at 9:30 PM.
The park is selling a VIP package (currently $39.99) which includes:
- Preferred seating with a “360 viewing experience” for the fireworks show
- Light snacks and a mocktail (with light-up cup provided)
- Access to a private cooling lounge in the Crazy Horse Saloon
- DJ or live music
The newly-constructed Boomtown Bar awning (seen nearing completion in our previous update) is now complete, just in time to provide some much-needed shade for the July 4th celebration. Temperatures are forecasted for 100°F on the 4th before dropping down to a chilly 90°F on the 5th and 6th.
As a surprise bonus, the new family rides of Sylvester and Tweety Pounce and Bounce and Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters will also be opening July 4th (at 3pm for the public, earlier for passholders), bumping up the opening date from the previously-communicated July 12th.
