Harley Quinn Spinsanity
Harley Quinn Spinsanity was a massive, multi-axis spinning ride. Spinsanity was added in 2018 as part of a 2-ride package deal for Six Flags, the other ride being titled Cyborg Cyber Spin at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. The short-lived attraction was located in the Gotham City area near Riddler Revenge and Catwoman Whip.
Spinsanity shut down in 2018 for several months extending into 2019 for non-publicized reasons, but most likely due to a specialty part needing replacement and the long time needed to manufacture and ship the part from Switzerland to the park.
Unfortunately the novel ride was nothing short of an uptime disaster. The same year it opened, Spinsanity shut down in 2018 for several months extending into 2019 for non-publicized reasons. It seemingly sat dormant more often than it operated, and seeing it run during a visit to the park was a rare sight. The park confirmed its removal in February 2023 and ultimately removed it in late 2023.
The Other Spinsanity
If you’re having déjà vu of the “Harley Quinn Spinsanity” name, you’re not imagining things. Prior to the Tourbillon ride’s addition in 2018, Six Flags over Texas had rethemed its Crazy Legs ride as Harley Quinn Spinsanity after expanding Gotham City into what previously was Goodtimes Square. The original Spinsanity was removed to make way for Ma Hunkel’s Chicken and the new-for-2018 ride taking over the name and theme.
Closure
In February 2022, the park confirmed via Twitter that Harley Quinn Spinsanity was permanently closed. For now the park has barricaded off the section of Gotham City past Joker.
Hi, Harley Quinn Spinsanity is permanently closed, it is not listed on the website available rides. please visit Six Flags over Texas website for ride updates or you can download the Six Flags app for more accurate rides updates.https://t.co/FP4htavdAVhttps://t.co/1BRzV7WJnx

As we reported in earlier posts, Six Flags had already removed the ride from park maps and the website’s ride list. As recently as July the ride was operating, throwing further doubt into the ride’s future. It’s apparent the park hit a limit of sinking further money into ongoing repairs and maintenance.
