Gotham City Area
The Gotham City section of the park features rides and attractions themed to DC Comics characters, such as Batman and Mr. Freeze. The area also has an extensive midway with games for the entire family and a large outdoor stage.
Gotham City is the latest section added to the park with the addition of Mr. Freeze in 1998 and Batman in 1999. Its area significantly expanded in 2016 with the addition of two new flat rides — The Riddler Revenge and Catwoman Whip, effectively replacing the Goodtimes Square area. Gotham City continued to grow further with The Joker and Harley Quinn Spinsanity (which the park announced was permanently closed in 2023).
The Gotham City Stage added near Riddler Revenge is a popular outdoor venue, featuring live shows and music throughout the year.
