Six Flags over Texas Parking
Guests will find ample parking at Six Flags over Texas’ large paid parking lot. For an upcharge, preferred parking minimizes the distance you walk to the park gate. Speedy Parking is now standard, allowing rapid entry into the park.

Parking Costs
General parking at Six Flags over Texas for 2024 is $30 while preferred parking is $45 (subject to change at any time). Remember that general or preferred parking is included with the Gold and Prestige passes and memberships.
Like the rest of the park, Six Flags over Texas’ parking is now cashless, so we highly recommend pre-purchasing parking. Alternatively you can pay at certain booths with a bank card.
Alternate Transportation
Most surrounding hotels do not offer transportation directly to Six Flags over Texas. Instead, the Arlington Trolley is a popular option, offering a free shuttle service between most of the hotels and attractions within the Arlington entertainment district.
EV Charging
Six Flags over Texas offers a number of Volta EV chargers throughout the parking lots for electric vehicle charging.
Parking Tips
- RVs and Buses should use the right-most lane when approaching the parking booths
- Drop-offs should use the left-most lane
- When traffic entering the park builds up along southbound Six Flags Dr., it can be quicker to enter from northbound direction, turning left into the park
Speedy Parking
All lanes are now enabled for Speedy Parking, featuring automated entry into the parking lot. After pre-registering the vehicle’s license plate, guests can theoretically enter the parking lot quicker because lanes are enabled to automatically scan license plates and admit vehicles.
Although originally introduced as an add-on in the Fall of 2023, Speedy Parking is now a free service included with season passes, memberships, and legacy members. Passholders can activate their Speedy Parking and register their vehicle online.
Does Speedy Parking Work?
Although advertised as a fast way to enter the park, it is our observation that Speedy Parking is typically not any faster than parking attendants scanning season passes, memberships, or parking pass barcodes. The only real slowdowns occur with people purchasing parking at the booths, which can occur in any lane at any time. Ideally Six Flags over Texas would require parking to be purchased at certain booths, leaving other other lanes dedicated to pre-purchased parking for faster entry.
