Silver Season Pass Tier Returns

Six Flags continues to tweak admission offerings, reintroducing the Silver Pass tier that had initially disappeared following the chain’s merge with Cedar Fair. The base-level tier pass features admission to SFoT only with blackout dates, which currently appear to be Saturdays during 2025’s Fright Fest. More info can be found on our admission page.

Final Fright Fest Weekend

Fright Fest wraps up this weekend, concluding on November 3. Visitors should also know this is the last park operating weekend for a while, with the park being closed to the public (for private events) until November 24 when the park will reopen for Holiday in the Park.

Ample Patience Required for Fright Fest

Fright Fest 2024 attendees will need to practice extreme patience during their visit to the popular event. Visitors are reporting extreme crowds and lines, including 2-3 hour traffic jams between exiting highways and getting into the parking lot. Park entry lines have extended back into the overflow lot. Ride wait times are topping 2 hours as well. Plan accordingly!

Chaperone Policy Announced for Fright Fest

Following the lead of several other parks in the chain, Six Flags over Texas announced a new chaperone policy new chaperone policy for Fright Fest.

Parking Prices Reduced

Positive changes under the combined Six Flags/Cedar Fair regime continue, with Six Flags over Texas unexpectedly dropping its parking prices. General parking has dropped from $45 to $30, and Preferred Parking has dropped from $55 to $45.
