Brief updates and happenings around Six Flags over Texas

Six Flags Introduces Free Pre-K Pass

Six Flags has launched a new free Pre‑K Pass that gives kids ages 3–5 unlimited visits for the entire 2026 season, and Six Flags Over Texas is one of the participating parks. Families just need an active 2026 Silver, Gold, or Prestige Pass or Membership to register, then activate the child’s pass at the front gate by May 31 with proof of age. Each adult pass can register up to two Pre‑K kids, and children 2 and under already get in free. The offer runs April 22–May 31.

Crowd Alert: March 13-15

A perfect storm of crowds is brewing at Six Flags Over Texas this weekend. Not only has Spring Break started, but an Indycar Grand Prix is happening throughout the streets of nearby ATT Stadium and Globe Life Field. Very heavy crowds are expected at the park and throughout Arlington. Visitors beware!

Bubble Show Headed to Southern Palace

The Gazillion Bubbles Show will showcase the “beauty of bubble artistry and wonders of soapy science” in the Southern Palace Theater. The show runs March 14-22, and will presumably be the first show in the newly-redone theater that now features seats instead of bench-style seating.
