Six Flags over Texas announced late Friday over social media that Pirates of Speelunker Cave is set to reopen with “technical rehearsal voyages” beginning Saturday, June 24. The unique, dark ride attraction that pays homage to the park’s past has been closed since flooding damaged the ride in August 2022, shortly after its opening.
The “technical rehearsal” heavily implies the park may still be working out kinks, and periods of downtime can still be expected.
