Six Flags over Texas announced today it would be suspending park operations until at least the end of March amid ongoing concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID 19). Six Flags President & CEO Mike Spanos stated in an email to members and passholders that the chain will reevaluate the situation at the end of March to determine if the parks will reopen or remain closed.

The closure follows other high-profile park closures such as both Disneyland and Disney World and Universal properties. It also couldn’t come at a worse time for the Six Flags chain, as the company posted a quarterly loss and cut dividends, surprising analysts.
