Guests attending this year’s Holiday in the Park can now see the full, record-breaking 309 ft height achieved by Tormenta Rampaging Run with the ride recently being topped out.
Track that starts the first drop being lifted into place
Crews installed the final track piece of the ride’s peak early the morning of December 19, 2025, joining track sections of the lift with the first drop. This milestone completes 870 feet of the ride’s total 4,199 feet of track.
Tormenta is set to break 6 world records, including the tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster.

Tormenta Rampaging Run is expected to open within a reimagined Spain area (including the new Cocina Abuela restaurant) in summer 2026, the park’s 65th anniversary.
