Justice League: Battle for Metropolis

The ride vehicles have staggered rows so that everyone has a view of the action

Justice League: Battle for Metropolis takes riders on an interactive journey combining 3D imagery, life-like animatronics, and ride vehicles capable of spinning and tilting for the best view of the unfolding action. During the ride guests become part of the Justice League, using laser blasters to take down the bad guys as they compete against other riders to get the highest score.

When it opened, Justice League: Battle for Metropolis—along with its sister ride of the same name at Six Flags St. Louis—took home the “Best New Ride” Brass Ring Award at the 2015 IAAPA conference.

Adventure Theater

Justice League: Battle for Metropolis took over the large Adventure Theater building in the USA section which had long sit vacant and unused. Previously the building housed a large screen and motion seats, showing various 2D and 3D short films including The Right Stuff: Mach 1 Adventure (1995-1998), Escape from Dino Island 3D (1999-2001), Spongebob Squarepants the Ride 4D (2004-2006), and Fly Me to the Moon (2007-2009), with various other shows mixed throughout. The theater also played special shows during Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park events.
