Six Flags over Texas opens for its 2018 season February 24th and the park plans to roll out several new attractions and offerings throughout the year.

Harley Quinn Spinsanity

Slated to open in the summer (new rides typically open around Memorial Day), Harley Quinn Spinsanity will be a monstrous, unique flat ride addition in 2018 to Six Flags over Texas. Concentric structures independently rotate to flip rows of passengers in inconceivable ways.

Dining Changes in 2018

Self-Service Kiosks for Food

Several of the park’s restaurants will get an efficiency boost by offering kiosks where guests can order food and drinks themselves without the lines.

Texas Tacos

A new food stand for 2018, Texas Tacos will serve up brisket, barbacoa, fajita, and chicken tacos on flour or corn tortillas. Sides will include elote (Mexican street corn), seasoned black beans, or fruit cups.

Gotham Chicken

With the ever-growing Gotham City area, the park is adding a new food option to the area with Gotham Chicken. Its menu will include chicken wings, both regular and boneless, fried or grilled chicken sandwiches, and corn dog baskets, fries, and soft drinks.

Cheesesteak and Tots

In the Tower area adjacent to Superman Tower of Power, Cheesesteak & Tots will offer Philly Cheesesteaks topped with grilled onions and peppers, buffalo cheesesteaks, chicken tenders, loaded tater tots, and ice-cold draft beer on tap.

Boomtown Bar

Six Flags over Texas is expanding its alcohol offerings, with a new bar in the Boomtown section of the park. A new scenic patio overlooking the park will offer the perfect spot to enjoy a Texas craft beer, margarita, cocktail, or wine.

Coaster Candy

The park’s newest candy store will sell all the standard sweet staples of theme parks including cotton candy, rock candy, taffy, gummies, and more.
