Six Flags over Texas is mixing things up on the Texas SkyScreamer this summer with a different ride program. The ride’s standard program of slowly rising to the top, pausing, and then lowering is being replaced for a limited time this summer.

Instead, the new program will raise riders up to the top, lower them to half-way and pause, and then lift riders again to the top before descending for a final time. This “yo-yo ride experience” doesn’t appear to be a permanent change and the park didn’t give details on exact dates of availability.
